Workers who spend their days opening doors might soon be walking out of them and onto picket lines.

The thousands of union doormen, superintendents, porters and other apartment workers in Manhattan voted Thursday night to call a strike if negotiations break down.

Union members in Brooklyn and Queens approved the measure earlier this week.

The union, 32 BJ of the Service Employees International Union, is deadlocked with the Realty Advisory Board over wages and benefits. The current contract expires on April 20.

"It's moving closer and closer to a strike," said a 32 BJ spokesman.

Workers said they're worried the standoff won't be resolved.
