By Doug Cunningham

“Social Security works. There’s no reason it can’t work well for the next 75 years and beyond.”

Social Security expert Nancy Altman wrote “The Battle For Social Security”. She says in this 75th anniversary year the program is NOT in crisis. Social Security works and unless its enemies get away with destroying it, your social security checks and your great-grand children’s are safe.

: “Without benefit cuts, without raising the retirement age and without most workers contributing a penny more than they already are.”

1. This has been stated many times, but people still buy into the fear tactics
that are meant to disrupt confidence in government...the right loves to repeat its lies to simply advance its own agenda - "small government". Their definition-no social support programs, no tax for corporations nor restrictions on them. Limit rights and options for workers and "small people" , unlimited rights for the rich, connected and corporations.
The GOP wants to take society back to the early 1900's in terms of near slavery to your job, low wages, no rights or benefits, no rights. The rich could live as if they were princes and we would be their serfs.
