Ever Notice How the Workplace Is Like the Mafia?
You know the story if you've ever been fired. You also know how it works in the mafia. Mafioso B kills Mmafioso A. Mafioso B is then killed by Mafioso C, who himself is killed by Mafioso D. Mafioso D is killed by E and so on.

A --> B --> C --> D --> E -->

If you're in the workplace, Manager B fires worker A. Manager B is then fired by Manager C, who himself is fired by Manager D. Manager D is fired by E and so on.

A --> B --> C --> D --> E -->
