Fewer than 40 cases remaining

Dear Steven,

If you love big, blockbuster Cabernet Sauvignon (like we do), you’ll want to read on…

Our single vineyard 2007 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Stone Tree Vineyard was recently awarded a 93pts. rating in the August 18th edition of Wine Spectator Insider. This wine is a dense, full-bodied Cabernet that will easily endure a decade or more of aging.

We currently have fewer than 40 cases remaining, which we’ve made available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you’re interested in experiencing this single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, please visit our online store. Due to limited supply we’ll be limiting orders to 2 bottles per customer.

If you’d like to learn more about the Stone Tree Vineyard, we’ve included some background information on the vineyard below.

About the Stone Tree Vineyard
The Stone Tree Vineyard is situated in the heart of the Wahluke Slope AVA just eight miles east of Mattawa. The name “Stone Tree” was assigned to this vineyard because of the prominence of petrified tree fossils (some which date back more than 20 million years) in the hills surrounding the vineyard.

Stone Tree Vineyard has long been the source of some of our finest grapes. In fact, a portion of the grapes used in the production of the ’05 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon – Wine Spectator’s #1 Wine of the Year in 2009 – were sourced from this vineyard. We realized early on in our relationship with the growers at Stone Tree Vineyard that their site was truly special and warranted limited-release wines that illustrated the uniqueness of this hallowed place. Our 2007 Stone Tree Cabernet Sauvignon is perhaps one of the best examples of Cabernet Sauvignon from this vineyard to date.

This wine was aged for 18 months in 100% new French (70%) and American (30%) oak barrels. Only 200 cases were produced.
