United Steel Workers Vice-President Gary Beevers says the oil industry’s run to failure mentality concerning equipment is getting worse every day. Beevers says it’s motivated by money. The union says it compromises safety, and the industry needs to return to more frequent turnovers – times when the refineries are shut down for maintenance.
