Ohio State University workers for concession and cleaning subcontractor Sodexo are planning a “Hail Mary” pass to bring attention to their working conditions. Jesse Russell reports.

Buckeye fans might be facing a concession shortage at Ohio Stadium on Saturday. This past weekend eight concessions workers walked off the job at a soccer game and one employee for the contracting company, Sodexo, told Ohio State’s student newspaper The Lantern, that there could be a walkout this weekend. The workers clean many of the University’s sport facilities as well as run the concession stands. This weekend the Buckeyes will take on cross border rivals Indiana. The France-based company has been battling workers who have been trying to organize unions. Allegedly they have reduced hours and fired some workers who have tried to organize. Sodexo has nearly 400 employees in central Ohio. The company is currently under investigation by the National labor Relations Board for allegations of unfair labor practices.
