Tens of thousands of airlines workers are voting on union representation this fall. At Delta some 16,000 passenger service workers begin voting November 2nd on whether or not they want to be represented by the International Association of Machinists. The IAM represented those workers at Northwest Airlines. This election is for the merged operations of Delta and Northwest. Meanwhile, about 14,000 flight attendants begin voting Thursday at Delta on representation by the Association of Flight Attendants – CWA. That election wraps up November 18th.

1. We need to outsource some of our leftist leadership to France.
Those leftist leaders in France were able to get out 3 million people to protest the erosion of their retirement system. That's equivalent to getting 15 million people in one protest in the US.

I say we need to bring some of those very successful union leaders to the US to get our liberal base out and protesting regularly. I think they can teach us a few things.
