AFL-CIO leaders are campaigning across the country as part of the Labor 2010 elections program. A large get out the vote effort is underway to support candidates friendly to working families. AFL-CIO President Rich Trumka, Vice-President Arlene Holt Baker and Secretary-Treasurer Liz Shuler will be on the road through November 2nd doing all they can to support labor-backed candidates. Millions of direct mail pieces and leaflets are being distributed as thousands of workers go door to door to get out the vote.
