Last week the Communications Workers of America filed a motion with the National Labor Relations Board demanding movement on a case involving 250 CNN technicians in New York and Washington DC. According to the union CNN broke the law eight years ago when it used a reorganization plan to try and eliminate unionized employees. In 2008 a NLRB Administrative Law judge ruled in favor of the union and ordered restitution for the 250 workers impacted by the company’s move. CNN still has not acted on the judges order.
