Where are you in the contract bargaining process?

I ask because here, it never really ends. We were at the table for 15 months, and we've been trying for another seven months to get the state government to actually fund the signed contract.

We choose a bargaining committee for the next contract in September. :crazy:

I get the feeling it never really ends here, either, though I just finished my first semester here, so I'm not totally up to speed ... our GEO was around for 10-15 years before we finally got a contract a couple of years ago, and we'll be bargaining again this fall. This time around it hopefully won't be as complicated. (The initial negotiations included legal battles reaching to the state supreme court, as I understand it ...)

Bastards cut my pay for three semesters, my health insurance, and my tuition remission. They only targeted three of us.

I am SO HAPPY for this DU group. I've been hoping one would pop up for awhile, but I'm always on the picket line, so I never have time to post anymore.
