I may not have to quit drinking Miller beer after all

MGD is my beer of choice. And I never drink Coors because of the family being so Republican. I did see the former candidate for Senate Coors was arrested this week for DWI!




Important Update: Teamsters and SABMiller Make Progress at the Bargaining Table

July 14, 2006

Last night, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters made significant progress towards reaching a tentative agreement with SABMiller after around-the-clock negotiations.

The union is hopeful that Teamster members in Eden, North Carolina and Fort Worth, Texas will be able to vote on a contract offer this Sunday, July 16.

Negotiations will continue for Teamster workers in Irwindale, California throughout next week.

In light of this recent development, the Teamsters have cancelled the conference call for market analysts and investors scheduled for 10:00 a.m. EDT today.

1. Coors beer sucks anyhow.

I have refused to drink Coors for a long time because they were so awful about allowing organizing. It wasn't too painful to boycott them anyhow since I have never liked the beer they produce.

I am also a MGD fan (a Miller fan, period, I guess) and I share your relief, Omaha Steve.
