UPS gets a wake up call from angry protesters in Rockford, local labor unions picketed outside the UPS hub at Rockford International Airport.

The protesters claim UPS is hiring out of town, non-union contractors for renovation projects. A spokesman for the picketers says it's costing local workers jobs.

Picketers have been on the frontlines for about three weeks, today they increased their efforts.
