Train your own replacement at AK Steel
AK Steel is Middletown, Ohio's main employer. The union has been negotiating in good faith; now the company has started to bring in scabs for training. The City of Middletown depends on AK as its main employer and largest tax contributor.

MIDDLETOWN – Employees at AK Steel’s Middletown Works were spared the deep cuts in wages and benefits other steelworkers faced when bankruptcies swept the industry.
But a day of reckoning is at hand as the company and the union representing some 2,700 hourly workers negotiate a contract to replace the one that expires next month
Negotiators in Middletown have been meeting for five weeks, although Daley accuses the company of refusing to engage in “serious dialogue.”
“Before we even got the chance to, the company decided to bring in replacement workers and have our own members train those that will take their jobs,” Daley said. “That puts to question the company’s sincerity on whether or not they really want to bargain.”

1. Some of those replacement workers should have accidents...
Nothing big, just enough to convince them never to return.

4. These people most likely take the job because they HAVE to.
Slashing tires of these people will accomplish what? A incredible expense to somebody who is just trying to make it and put food on the family table. There are honorable methods of dealing with this.

5. These people are union busters
Unappealing as it sounds, unions HAVE to stop scabs if they are going to survive. Honorable corporations do not require their workers to train their replacements. Honorable Americans do not cross picket lines.
