Change To Win: Obama Inspires And Will Empower Workers |
|
http://www.laborradio.org/node/8111By Doug Cunningham : "He's the aspirational candidate. he's the candidate that we believe can create a kind of a new direction. His campaign is an empowering campaign, I believe, and I think that while we need to change laws to make it easier for workers to organize, we also need workers to see hope and have a feeling that things are possible in their work lives. And I think he brings that."
Change To Win Executive Director, Greg Tarpinian, explaining why Senator Barack Obama has Change To Win’s support. Tarpinian says Change To Win will be pouring resources into the next big primary contest in Pennsylvania on Obama's behalf, but is also prepared to help out in Michigan and Florida as well, if that becomes necessary. But for the sake of party unity, Change To Win would like to see the nomination decided soon.
: "This thing should come to a conclusion as quickly as possible for the unity of the Democratic party and the ability to win in November."

Would you care to explain Obama's bargaining skills. Was he a union attorney? Did he meet with the Detroit bigwigs at any time in his career? Did he supervise skilled union labor at any of those rat infested run down apartment houses on Chicago's southside.?
