1. Congratulations Phoenix, you sound like you have a very
thoughtful Mayor. "Today, I say once again to the Sheriff what I’ve said all week – if he really feels compelled to act tough, and if he really wants to impact crime, he should do what Phoenix PD, DPS, the FBI, Mesa PD and every other police agency does – with each other. Go after criminals – not a teenager driving with a broken tail light."

4. Unfortunately
we have an asshole for a sheriff! And Gordon also caved in to pressure to have Phoenix police act as immigration officers by asking people if they are here legally. (But I do support his blasting of Arpaio who should be living in his own tent cities wearing his own pink underwear.)

3. When is that county...
Gonna say "enough" with that bozo? It's amazing he's lasted this long, with all that is known about him and his dealings.

6. Arpaio is an attention whore
We have one of those in my county. He's a Dem who lives for spouting neocon talking points in the media and on AM talk radio. Worse than Lieberman. Total douchebag. Of course he runs as a Dem because it's very difficult for Republicans to get elected around here.

How bad is this guy? Last time around, I voted for the Republican guy in the race. He was a decent candidate with experience who didn't feel politics had a place in the sheriff's office. He ran on the GOP ticket only because there was an opening. Of course, he didn't get elected, which probably meant that people around here will vote for anyone with a "D" next to his/her name, which can sometimes be a double-edged sword.
