3. this is a very concise overview of how the RW noise machine works |
|
and as long as the dems continue to play along, they will continue to lose. There are only a few people who can effectively counter this tactic. If more dems could learn to counter this effectively, we might start to make some progress. However, as long as they continue to play by these rules, and MOST in the dem leadership positions do, the truth will never see the light of day in a mainstream context.
The sad part is the counter is actually very simple: you do not allow bogus statements such as "the media has a liberal bias" to enter into the dialog. That is a patently false assertion. If the dem leadership would simply react in this manner, it would dramatically change the topography of the discussion.

6. The Dems aren't liberal either! |
|
As Chomsky well points out, the Dems are just the other wing of the Business Party.

I was just trying to avoid side-tracking the point of the video. You're right, though, the vast majority of the dems in leadership positions are not liberal at all.

9. Or more to the point, may likely not be if willing to support monstrous, anti-liberal systems |
|
The point being that the individuals subjective views are irrelevant in determining business/sociopolitical policies.

Chomsky is a great man. The way he explains the machinations of the business party and the elite- biased media is fantastic!
