Dean keeps the heat on McCain

1. Please both Campaigns---I want one of you to win the election

in the fall. People on the left side of the aisle often
appear out of touch with Middle America . Howard Dean
has been my hero but on this one I fear he is blowing it.

No matter how you may feel about it, McCain is a hero
in the eyes of most Americans. People like him even if
they differ with him politically. Just like it is sometimes
hard to make the case against Obama--it is going to be equally
hard to make the case against McCain on character.

To go after McCain our candidate is going to have to go after
the ill effects and damage done to our country by the Economics
of Conservatism. John McCain gets up at every rally, town meeting
touting Conservatism. It is the blind adherence to the extremes
of Economic Conservatism that has landed us in a ditch. Our Side
needs to explain how this strain of economics has created the
Wealth Gap. Rich getting richer, the poor getting poorer and
the People falling from Middle Class to poverty.

My point is it is just annoying to American People to go back
and try to bring up Keating situation. The American People know
that it was reccommended by the Democratic Lawyers in the Investigation
that McCain not even be included in the charges.

It is not worth the harm it will do our party making us appear
anti-military anti-troops and a willingness to destroy a hero.

Attack his Conservatism in a smart and sharp way.

I love Howard Dean but this is not his best move.

2. You are dead wrong. It is the job of the party to attack him.

That is a necessary thing.

What McCain did about the FEC ruling is illegal.

3. All I am saying is be careful . I did not say not to attack him.

I said BE CAREUL. Stay specific to an incident. Different attorneys
have different views on this.

Hilary has had to distance herself from Steinem today. Hilary
was quick and appropriate.
