The Royal Society wrote a cease and desist letter to Exxon Mobil asking them to stop funding organisations that misrepresent the scientific consensus on climate change. This is in response to the CEI adverts on "glaciers" with the tag line: CO2 - They call it pollution, we call it life'

2. The last bloke looks like the worst kind of whore in the sorry mess.

He saw an opportunity to make money, produced the "conflicting evidence" and marketed it where he knew he had a buyer.

That last little bit of hemming and hawing was very telling. You could almost hear him saying "Well that would never happen, because we know who our market is."

3. The freaking cigarette companies!

The cigarette companies have supported anti-global-warming propaganda as a smokescreen. It sounds like a plot from a bad conspiracy novel. Un-freakin-believable. Do they lay awake at night thinking up new ways to cause damage?

Will I ever cease to be amazed by the villainy in this world?
