17. I wonder how many of the new political activists are aware of this? |
|
Maybe this will help to garner more votes for Dems in November.

2. So why did they approve his appointment as AG? Surely they knew he |

was juniors water-boy.
They (congress) should have stopped this before it got started and rejected his appointment. Although I agree in principle with what congress is doing, this song and dance is pathetic.

Keep in mind that congress (the house and senate) did not have the power to reject his appointment. Only the senate has the power to approve presidential appointees. Who you should be blaming is Schumer and Feinstein for voting for him in the Senate Judicial Committee. That is where this thing should have been stopped. Then his conformation was supported by Bayh (D-IN), Carper (D-DE), Feinstein (D-CA), Landrieu (D-LA), Lieberman (ID-CT), Nelson (D-NE), and Schumer (D-NY). The final vote was 53-40. I an getting sick of this crap! How do the Repugs get to pass anything they would with just 50 votes but the Democrats need 60 votes! On the good side I am glad my Florida Democratic Senator, Bill Nelson, did not cave on this one.

14. Thanks for the info jae. I thought the house also had some type of approval process. |
|
Makes it all that much more important for dems to get two thirds of the senate.

that a congressman has to stand on the National Mall and have his remarks posted on YouTube in order to get his message out because our media is allied with traitors to the US.
One more reason why I have essentially turned my TeeVee OFF.

4. So this is how low we have resorted in this "liberal media" nation... |
|
Congressmen have to go to U-Tube to get out their messages, because the damned media is inept and clueless as to what their role is in this society. They have been nothing more than "American Idol" tabloids and propaganda sources for our ruling party.
This is sick. America is sick. And I'm not sure we are going to get better.
These criminals need to be held accountable...whether it's stealing a candy bar or raping the Constitution.

11. Mukasey should be held in Inherant Contempt. |
|
The Sgt at Arms is to arrest Mukasey and hold him the basement until the DOJ has complied with the congressional contempt cases is filed.
Also at what point are they goingto quit calling this political shenanigans and call it what it actually is? A coup against the Constiution.

Truer words have never been spoken...Cheney is head of the Shadow Government, a branch all its own and responsible to no law abiding citizen.
Till those monsters are rounded up and locked away, waterboarded and left to rot, nothing Congress does will mean a thing.
Just my disgusted opinion.
