Jon Stewart has more guts than the entire MSM combined. I also think this is a sign that McCain will get chewed up in the debates, so long as our Dem candidate can put it to him in the same way Stewart did.
HUGE K&R on this one. I'm sorry I missed it when it was originally on.

2. And then we get the wet rags...the MSM who refuse to ask this old fart anything of substance... |
|
I sure as hell hope that once the primaries are over, that the MSM will grow some balls and begin to ask some of the tough questions. To this date....NONE have those balls...cept maybe KO and JS.

7. That is typical of totalitarian nations as we are rapidly becoming. |
|
Only comedy shows can tell the truth or ask hard questions under comedy's guise.
In Putin's Russa, Bush's Amerika, and Communist China, "news" organizations are little more than love-fests for the powerful.

5. This interview is from April 24th last year |

The video and audio quality is better if you watch on The Daily Show website.
John McCain starts off the interview by saying that he just came back from Baghdad, and he brought Jon Stewart a gift - it's an IED to put under his desk! :o Twisted.
You can watch the whole interview here:
Part 1: www.thedailyshow.com/video/index.jhtml?videoId=85762
Part 2: www.thedailyshow.com/video/index.jhtml?videoId=85843
That same episode of The Daily Show (April 24, 2007) includes the classic bit where Jon Stewart compares Harry Reid with "my drunk uncle McFeely-Hands" ;-)
Here it is: www.thedailyshow.com/video/index.jhtml?videoId=85760
Plus the amazing "debate" between the Bush Jr. of 2007 and first-term Bush Jr.
Here it is: www.thedailyshow.com/video/index.jhtml?videoId=85841

Thanks for posting. Jon Stewart isn't afraid of real questions like the rest of the sheep media.

First of all, Jon is smarter and more intellectually curious. Comedy depends on seeing things from a different perspective. He has the brains to take apart a politician's argument and the balls to confront him with it.

14. I hate youtube takes down interviews at direct request, that involve people who want to govern us |
|
I can understand segments that are just him, or skits, but ones involving questions posed about the gov't, should be left on... thankfully, someone else loaded links to the full interview, above...
THANKS
