2. Who was the questioner?
I haven't watched TV news in ages--was this Jeff/Jimmy's cousin or something? What the hell kind of softball question was that? And Cokesnort couldn't even handle this obvious gift?

7. The questioner said "thank you sir, may I follow up with something
unrelated"

So his first bullshit question as an attempt to smear Gov. Dr. Dean, fell apart because he was playing the set up to a fucking imbecile who could only stammer the same old line until he recalled that he's supposed to say "absurd" when his name and 911 is brought up, which, in a way actually makes sense. So when he revealed his true assholery, I guess it was funny.

5. He was looking for a way to worm his way out of a softball questions
Of course one has to be looking for a problem to see a problem. A simple answer from Mr. Bush Jr. would have been, "You are correct"! But he could not do that, instead, an id and ego were conflicting within that answer, not to mention a confused conscience. The id being he works hard at this and you better respect me. The ego being he never makes mistakes, other people do. The confused conscience pertains to the information that we know now about how much information concerning 911 was presented to the Bush Jr. Administration with replies like, "well, you covered your ass". That response is from a person who thinks they know what is going on and does not want to be brothered. That is the way up set yourself up to stubble over softball questions.

8. "What did you know about 9/11 and when did you know it?"
That has gotta be the question that Bush fears the most. My impression is that Bush clenched up when the reporter started the question, and he was trying to regroup without breaking into a total flop sweat.

11. I emailed Jack Graham (several times, actually)
asking him to apologize to the world; after I demanded they take my name off their church role. I requested him to publicly apologize for telling his congregation of 13,000 from the pulpit that, "GW Bush is a great man."

http://www.nytimes.com/2004/06/18/politics/campaign/18baptists.html?ex=1402891200&en=8a28fcb059b27a40&ei=5007&partner=USERLAND

I denounce the Baptist religion.

I pray for Jesus whose birthday we are about to celebrate to "kick some religious leader butt" (i.e. Jerry Falwell, Jack Graham, James Dobson, John Hagee, etc.)

16. Welcome to DU MathEducation!
:hi:

Thanks for standing up to your church leaders. I hope, someday, the Baptist religion can return to what it was when my grandmother loved it many decades ago. In order to have a chance to get back to what is good they need to hear from people.

Math Education? What do you teach? I teach Introductory Statistics at a University. So many phobic, math-incompetent students - so little time. I wind up teaching basic problem-solving (step 1, step 2, step 3...), a bit of logic, and a bit about probability.

from UTD. About to finish a masters in Intelligent Systems. I have a good friend still teaching in Richardson. Most people I speak with (including college professors) attribute the recent decline in education to...drum roll please...No Child Left Behind...

I taught jr and sr high school math and computer science back in the mid 80's. Thought I might try going back into the classroom...

35. He clearly shows guilt here.
He wasn't shit-faced, and it's not because he's an imbecile, this behavior. When I was drinking very heavily, I used to have episodes like this, where I would just panic and lose it. This is what is happening to Bush here. The nervous system of a drunk is very precarious, especially after a hard night of it. He is clearly displaying guilty knowledge here.
