On this, the 5th anniversary of the war against Iraq, Congressman Dennis Kucinich, the leading anti-war voice in the U.S. Congress, asks all citizens to engage in a renewed quest for peace and a national civic activism to ensure that candidates -- from the Presidential race on down -- understand that ending the war is crucial to rescuing our own nation.

1. Valiant speech and last ditch effort to reach the idiots in our country

including many in our own party. What do you do when they don't listen to what is right and true? Why they listen to their tvs telling them why the war is so needed and necessary and why we must give up our rights while they pick who runs for president in my party without many of the party constituents being informed let alone a chance to be able to cast a vote for the candidate they would want after being properly informed. Welcome my friends to the deception that you count for anything and if this party does not wake the hell up soon I will leave it to be independant. I give until the next fiasco in 2012 for them to turn this party around and fly right. Oh don't give me any song and dance about how my leaving is welcomed by you as I am supposed to only be a republicon plant of some sort, but I've always been a democrat and I don't like the direction my party or my country is headed with most of you hailing loyalty to the party. The party is nothing without ideals and true goals of serving the people as it now serves itself and the goals of the repukes as they have seemingly gone to bed together somewhere forgetting what it is they are there for. Try hailing loyalty to the constitution or the bill of rights. Try hailing loyalty to humaneness. If God were here He might say what I'm starting to think and that is I don't know you. I don't give loyalty to anybody that does not earn it and DK earned it while his own party turns on him and attacks him. My party allows a circus to take place with the media picking who is to be allowed to run for my party's nomination. This is no joke and this is no game or at least it isn't supposed to be. It is blatently in front of you to see what is going on and I'm not deceived. This war is only a small part of the bigger picture that I'm seeing and it seems Osama wasn't wrong about us after all, but that was the pot calling the kettle black.
