Rev. Wright believes that the white race is inferior in our treatment of the world and in our treatment of other races. I don't agree, I don't like to separate black from white from brown from yellow. We are all responsible for our brothers.

Ferraro is stating a fact, the fact that part of Obama's meteoric rise has been due in part to his race. She did not denigrate Obama or suggest that he was inferior but she stated that he possessed an edge on other potential candidates. Other potential candidates such as Senator Jim Webb or VA or former Senator John Edwards of N. Carolina.

Obama denounced Wright. Clinton did not denounce Ferraro. In fact, Ferraro was even allowed paint HERSELF as the victim endlessly in the RW media without anyone challenging her. The only person with a nightly TV show doing so is Keith.

There is a double standard here. When one of Clinton's supporters intentionally made racially insensitive comments, she's off the hook. When one of Obama's supporters made racially insensitive comments - in three ten-second clips winnowed from 30 yrs of sermons - Obama had to present a 45 min speech to explain it.

Keith Olbermann says the things we don't get to say. I don't know how much is his own thoughts and how much are some other writer's but I don't care. Every weekday night he goes on the air and puts out one or two stories about what's happening in our country or around the world. Straight, cutting analysis and research form the backbone of the things he says that we at DU read about daily but have little or no voice to speak on.

His special comment on Clinton is everything I've wanted to say about her.

To paint him as anything except an excellent liberal voice, possibly the only SANE liberal voice on MSM cable news channels, is to paint yourself into the corner of possible republican, crazy nutcase or religious (as in "the church of hillary") zealot.

Personally, I consider supporters of hillary to be all three. She has shown a mean spirit, bad judgement and even SUPPORT for a Republican.
