Obama's Bra 54 Double "D" |
|
Is Pastor Manning a Hillary sympathizer? He's certainly sympathetic to Bill's Harlem generosity. Ah, gee whiz.

3. I'm an Obama supporter and I'm glad to hear you say so. Agreed! But, |
|
now let's be fair here. Has he endorsed Hillary? Any connections there? If so, will the MSM run with this guy too?? (I honestly haven't researched this.) He certainly likes the money Bill has given to Harlem projects. Hmmm...

5. Has this become a religious discussion for the election? |
|
It has gone a bit too far. Religion has its place but not when it comes to electing a President. These clergy aren't running for public office. There is a Republican religious candidate now. Pat Robertson ran for President in the past.
The Federal Election Commission should have banned both since their actions violate our Constitution regarding separation. They want theocratic rule...not democracy.
A "religiously insane" candidate for public office does not belong there. They can't separate their religious group to represent everyone.
Let's discuss the issues and not bring anyone's pastor into the discussion. They become important when they shouldn't be.
Religious leaders in the White House. Nope. We don't want a country who is ruled by the religiously insane (which happens all over the world). That settles that.
Respect people's religious leaders and beliefs but keep them out of our government...and discussion.

7. AGREED ! But, if Hillary's people are going to use Wright to lobby superdelegates, and |
|
if the MSM is going to echo-chamber Wright to undermine Obama, then let's be FAIR. I would like to move on. So Hillary people, do your REAL part and tell your operatives to stop using the Wright issue to lobby superdelegates and tell the MSM to quit the Wright BS. Otherwise, the other side is going to use Manning and other "dirt" against Hillary. That's the way it works.

10. Was Manning a part of Hillary's campaign? |
|
Because Rev. Wright wasn't just someone who endorsed Obama. He married Barack and Michelle, baptized their daughters, served as Obama's "moral compass" for 20 years and was a member of Obama's campaign...

12. EXACTLY ! A RELIGIOUS relationship that started DECADES before |
|
Obama ever entered politics. Again, a RELIGIOUS figure who we now know was INVITED (I think twice) by the Clinton Administration to the White House. A RELIGIOUS figure who came of age in the 60's and is a Pastor is black church in a black part of Chicago where preaching styles are very different. A RELIGIOUS figure who is a former US Marine. A RELIGIOUS figure, granted, some of whose social views are indeed flawed and some of whose rhetoric is indeed inflammatory, but MOST of whose actions and comments are all about community service and God and Jesus and RELIGION. People have listened to a few echo-chambered soundbites and have cast vast judgements. Obama has condemned the statements and pointed out the flawed views. Now, this Manning guy seems nuts, but he may just be "eccentric". My only point here is balance. If Hillary and McCain are receiving support from "extreme" religious figures (i.e. Hagee, Parsley, Falwell before he croaked in McCain's case), the corporate biased right wing "mainstream" media should give those equal airing or damn well turn off the Wright YouTubes. Personally, I would like to move on and talk again about the real issues this country faces (i.e. economy, healthcare, Iraq, education, global warming, etc.).

15. Most the politicians in DC are trying to get the "religious vote". |
|
They violate their oath of office. They can't be "religious enough". It's a persona at a cost to our democracy and freedom of religion.
