Before someone comments that Cenk is being cruel with regard to the Barbara Bush "nasty" comment, please refer to this thread on BB: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=385x109667

PS---You can always watch TYT Live from 3-5 pm ET, with a Rolling Post Game 5-7 pm daily Monday-Friday at www.theyoungturks.com The RPG often contains political talk but also many non-political topics to lighten things up (and yes, that audio may not necessarily be work-safe).

Also, if you can't watch live, the 3-5pm portion of the show (politics) streams the rest of the day, all day right after the Post Game Show ends leading up to the initial show at 3pm.

1. It says the video is no longer available...that's interesting
Ol' Kwame appears to be in the shithouse. Most of the folks around here agree that we have high hopes for Ken Cockrell Jr.. Ken is the President of City Council and he would take over as mayor, I believe. His father Ken Cockrell was a great guy.

I wonder what happened to the video? Looking forward to discussing Kwame some more. There are many who really hate the guy (white ones mostly). But his (now severely disappointed and ready for him to step down) staunch supporters point out, I think quite fairly, that many great improvements happened for D Town while he's been in office. Many who go downtown marvel at all the construction. There really is a lot of activity there, I guess I'd have to say Kwame should get some credit for that. My main complaint about him has been his presentation. I always thought he came across as an idiot, but he was well liked by some people whose intellects I respect so...2 sides to every story I guess.

Bottom line, he cost The City of Detroit 8 million or so because he lied. That makes him toast, I think.

Better times coming for The D, one can hope.

4. ok I saw it, thanks
it wasn't really all that much about our miscreant mayor, more about hypocrisy and Democratic wimphood.

Still very valuable stuff from Cenk, as always.

Thanks for posting.
