3. So true. Chimpy wouldn't last 5 minutes in corporate America. |
|
In fact, he didn't. His entire life, either the company has gone under or they "fired his ass." He's only where he is now because corporate America elevated him to the level of his incompetence.

4. . . . except at Halliburton |
|
Actually, get to know some of those Fortune 500 outfits from the inside. It doesn't surprise me that a dumb crook could get along there.

5. My favorite part: "Sometimes they even send you to prison." |
|
Actually, you know, she may be onto something here.
Impeachment sounds so .... I dunno... arcane. Too complicated. Political. Like it oughta be used as a punishment for, oh, say, fibbing about a blowjob and forgetting to take the dress to the cleaners or something. (Don't get me wrong; I'd like to see hearings commence the moment John Conyers steps foot back into the House Judiciary Committee's offices.)
While on the other hand, *FIRING* someone for incompetence, illegal acts, immoral acts, dishonesty, embezzlement - *that's* to be expected in the mainstream media life that so many Americans seem to live in. And so are the criminal punishments to follow.
Ms Dukakis has brilliantly illustrated how natural and logical the argument sounds.
"Fire His Ass!"
Billboards all over the country.
"You're Fired, George!"
Freeway signs.
"Fire Him!"
Bumperstickers.
"Shareholders to Bush: You're Fired!"
Radio spots.
Etc. - a solid media campaign.
Just the beginning of a thought here; no time to flesh it out before heading off to work here on Boxing Day. But I think this is worthy of further consideration.
