(I posted this news clip on Monday, but forgot I had planned to append an immensely appropriate/hilarious "Family Guy" clip to the end. So I pulled the earlier copy and replaced it with this version instead.)

Everything they know about evolution, they learned watching Flintstone's reruns.

A group of Evangelicals that believe the Bible "literally", that God created everything in six days and the Earth is only 6,000 years old, have taken over tours at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science's evolution exhibit to push their own beliefs upon visitors, most of whom are children.

Here's a question for the whack-a-doodles: If "a day" is 1 full rotation of the Earth, how do you measure "a day" before there WAS an Earth?

Bonus "Family Guy" clip thrown in for fun.

(Some have suggested that these people haven't actually "hijacked" an existing tour. However, they conduct these tours on their own at the museum free of charge, where any unsuspecting person/kid can follow along and join the tour. So if your kid is at the museum and encounters a tour group, it is easy to believe that they are an "official" tour operated "by the museum". When children see this and are welcomed to follow along, they have indeed been "hijacked".)

1. I loved when the interviewer asked "Why aren't dinosaurs and humans found in the same layers?"
Crazy fundie reply: "Well, we do have SOME problems with our theory and that's one of them."

6. Fuckin' nutcases.

That's all they are - fuckin' nutcases.

Well, also unfaithful and heretical, IMO. But that's a theological viewpoint that's up to argument.

The fact that they're fuckin' nutcases, however, is not up for argument. Excepting that one might argue that they are exceptionally fucked up fuckin' nutcases.

Wouldn't that be considered a blasphemous statement? Just curious.

I wish these dark ages idiots would stay down in Colorado Springs, with the rest of Colorado's home-schooled, brainwashed bibletards. The sooner they are all raptured, the better....

Those two dumbass tour guys are two vegetables I would really like to shred!

"How do we know God made birds to be birds?"
"Its in the Bible!"

Holy cow - what's wrong with us?
Why don't we want to base our scientific principles on such sound logic???
:sarcasm:
