Katherine Harris is gone. The R's are going to nominate the least funny (and most dangerous) of the dozens of rich, white, straight, buffoonish Christian men they started the race with. Even Gonzo is gone. Who are we supposed to regale with howls of derisive laughter? cheney? Please.

Bachmann is obviously batsh*t crazy - that's why we love her! Better enjoy it now, though - I don't think she'll be around all that long.

I met one of the DFL (the Democratic party moniker in MN) hopefuls for the MN 6th last night. Elwin Tinklenberg looks to be a strong candidate for the seat.

Bachmann's behavior while in Congress has turned her into a laughing stock - and MN-6 along with it. No more!

I'll feel a whole lot better when she's gone!
