1. I'm confused..
Why hasn't there not been repeated "FOX NEWS ALERTS" on this story??
Isn't this a business story? What about Niel Knucklehead??

3. I have no idea what you're asking. Are you asking why
Fox hasn't covered this? And also, no idea who 'Niel' is.

5. Neil Cavuto
Does a "business show" everyday which features acrobats, mimes, lions, and ANYTHING that puts Democrats in a bad light....And have they covered this story?..I don't know, perhaps they did. But if it was a story that made a Democrat, instead of a big business look bad, they would cover it non-stop...Over and over and over and over and over and over and over.....

9. Yes, it is. And your insurance policy
(should you be so lucky as to have one in these fine times) probably says it will do the same thing. Subrogation. Check into it. It just blows. You pay all the premiums and then if you win any money in court when you're injured, they come and get it from you. I think that if that's the way they play, the insured should then get all their premiums back.

Insurance. Just one more reason to keep them out of the equation when it comes to health care. Or anything else for that matter.

4. I'm speechless
I only thought that Walmart's corporate HQ was on the first circle of hell.
Apparently they are on the ninth.

Wow.

13. Double dipping insurance is illegal no matter who does it. So Walmart isn't in the wrong.
Nonetheless, I've never set foot in, nor will I ever set foot in a Walmart.

17. KO's worst perennial person
That's a great clip in which he says that he isn't letting up on Wal-Mart until they act honorably.
Here is one place you can watch it:

16. Wal-Mart is truly a deplorable company
Wake Up Wal-Mart has been very active on this. If you get a chance, take a minute to check out their new YouTube video kicking off their 2008 campaign.

18. Ah, but quite a few DUers have supported Wally Mart's lawsuit
saying that otherwise the Shank's are "double dipping" by taking both the settlement from the trucking company that caused her injuries AND using the health insurance promised to them through her employer to cover her medical expenses.

I have two points to make to those DUers: 1). Was the trucking company responsible or not? should there be consequences for leaving another human being profoundly handicapped for the rest of her life?

2). Is Wal-Mart responsible for paying for the health care promised to Mrs. Shank as part of her benefit package or not?

I don't see it as a case of "double dipping", but as a case of two separate entities with their own set of responsibilities. Both the trucking company AND Wal-mart are responsible for this woman's care, so BOTH should do what is required of THEM to get her the care that SHE requires.
