FINALLY: an honest and intellectual assessment of Reverend Wright and the things he spoke about. Bill Maher's panel tackles the fake patriotism and the fake outrage of those who condemned Wright. Tavis Smiley explains why Wright stands in a "Kingian" tradition; tackles hypocrisy in mainstream media for condemning Wright, yet giving Buchanan a free pass.

1. I REALLY
I REALLY like Tavis Smiley! He says it how it is. He looked really upset throughout the entire show not just this clip. I'm glad to hear Bill talking about this. There is such a double standard with these sort of stories. I like Obama and will vote for him if he wins the nom, but I am mostly a Hillary supporter but this whole Obama rev.Wright talk is just insane. There was no story there and it was made out to be something it's not. I'd like to listen to Smiley's show. Is it on the internet or the radio?

2. It was one of the most intelligent shows I've seen in a long time.
It had discussions about Wright, fake and real patriotism, the media's double standards, the Patriot Act, hidden racism and even more... It even got one of my favorite actors (John Cusack). And it even was funny as hell, too!

Yes, Tavis was very good. I don't know where his show is. I didn't know him before I watched this week's Real Time.
