That baseball is a sport and since he was wearing the Nationals Jacket when he entered the field it was the Atlanta crowd that booed and the Nationals crown that cheered and it really had nothing to do with politics.

It is hard work to throw the ball as high as he did so don't misunderestimate him, anyone who can throw the ball so well after snorting as much coke as he did should never be misunderestimated.

Somewhere, someone told me that when you're shaking someones hand if they use their other hand to touch you in some way, pat on the back etc, that this shows the person doing the touching has a higher opinion of themself as compared to the other person in the handshake. The way the Nats players and management were grabbing *'s body when shaking hands with him, I found really amusing.

He was pretty loudly booed at first, then it started to fade out, I have to wonder if the applause was quickly added to butter coat it. We may never know for sure. He kept a smile though the whole time but looked to me like he was trying hard to get it over with and get off the field.

62. Question: How do you negotiate "normal" life if you're |
|
a Bushie? Are you so completely insulated, in the bubble, that you never experience the deep contempt the majority of Americans have for you? Is your life so narrow that you never comprehend that millions of people despise you and what you have done to the country? Is Dick Cheney able to run to Home Depot on a Sunday afternoon? (not that he would. He prefers getting drunk on a ranch and then blasting away at sitting ducks/quail/people). What about the Bush daughters, Lynne Cheney, and Laura Bush...do they ever encounter the incredible hostility that Americans have for this administration? Or are these people completely in denial about the country they call home. It must be strange to be so cut off from the rest of the population of your country. And just how scary is life when you step outside the cocoon? I guess W. got a taste of that today. My guess is that he'll spend the rest of his days on the ranch or at carefully vetted fundraisers. Not so bad for him. But you have to feel some sympathy for the daughters. Their world is confined due to their father's disastrous regime. Their name is now linked with economic decline, war, torture, lying, and gross incompetence.
