That's something you never hear from the American media, that somehow American foreign policy might be causing ptoblems rather than fixing them.

4. Maher makes Chris look like a real pin head. Chris acts as if he doesn't know about race relations |
|
Chris is laughing about Bill O - "Really" but it's his own mentality that is on display here. It's his own narrow view of race and the world. He got to be the host of Hardball because he's smart? No! It's because he talks out of the side of his mouth.

In some ways it is astounding that even 10 years ago, it was verboten to bring up the idea that corporations were running the government, that they were the problem for the average American worker. Of course it takes a comedian to be able to bring this up but still...I see a glimmer of hope there. Maybe in another 10 years it will finally sink in to the average 'joe'.
On the flip side, how can 50% (or more even) of the population polled actually prefer McBush over ANY Democrat at this point? Even with the infighting? If it stays that close after Hillary does whatever more damage she can do before finally dropping out, and Barack is campaigning, I fear that Maher is right, all it would take is one small (facilitated) attack on the country to swing the vote to the "war hero".
BTW, what does it take to be a war hero? Is it just that you have to be one of the unlucky ones that gets captured? Or did he also single-handedly fight off 100 commies bare-handed or something? All I heard was that he was a bomber pilot who flew far above any of the bloody mess he produced and after he was shot down confessed "I am a black criminal and I have performed the deeds of an air pirate. I almost died and the Vietnamese people saved my life, thanks to the doctors." Which was one of the most truthful things he has ever admitted to.
