I keep seeing this very strange commercial running out here in the Seattle area. It is this young kid standing on a street corner waiting for the light to change. Then some old lady wraps her arm around the kid's arm to escort the kid across the street. No problem so far if you ask me. But then before they cross the street you see a hand push a button on the street light. Above the button there is a familiar name, it reads "McCain". I find it confusing to see a public service announcement that appears to pander, subliminally, for a candidate during an election year. The commercial is ran by the -Foundation For a Better Life- It may all be about nothing. But I went to SOURCE WATCH.com and they say that the person in charge of this "foundation" is some sort of oil/media barron. To make a long story short....I call bullshit..It's very subtle, but very obvious the message they are trying to convey..You are standing there in the gridlock, you press a button with the name McCain on top of it, the next thing you know you are no longer in the gridlock, and the OLD person is "leading" you out of the gridlock...Does this break some sort of campaign financing?
Call me crazy, but I watch out for that kinda stuff..
