I think it is correct, and should gain support, even in the red states. The people as a whole are less easily frightened now.
I think that the real problem is that the nation is split over the issue of Empire, and many elected Democrats support Empire and the whole Bush Doctrine. This has become just a simple fact of life to most observers over the past few years. It has nothing to do with personalities or any of the other issues on activist agendas.
The question is whether or not we will ever be asked to choose sides. Choosing sides will be the easy part. Establishing an opposition side, so that we may have a choice, is the most difficult part. Many obstacles are thrown in our path, by both parties.

then I'm pretty sure they will choose pursuing impeachment and war crimes charges. The majority, by far, are not immoral or corrupt, even though those are the attributes most valued by this cabal.
