Also, Cenk's reference to the fox anchor being a model (etc.) is a bit of an inside joke regarding Fox's on air talent (just in case a member of the PC Police decided to bring a nightstick). Granted, a sense of humor is the best remedy against being *overly* sensitive, but some people forget that option.

PS---You can always watch TYT Live from 3-5 pm ET, with a Rolling Post Game 5-7 pm daily Monday-Friday at www.theyoungturks.com (both shows include a live chat). The RPG often contains political talk but also many non-political topics to lighten things up (and yes, that audio may not necessarily be work-safe).

Also, if you can't watch live, the 3-5pm portion of the show (politics) streams the rest of the day, all day right after the Post Game Show ends leading up to the initial show at 3pm.

1. McCain Sure Does Have a Temper...
Cenk's right.....if you want another 7 years of this BS, vote for McCain.

"Bitch-slapping" He's got a terrific way of telling it like it is. :)

5. That's part of what makes him unique as a progressive host
His show has the perfect balance of being incredibly informative and serious but then also light and funny (and of the course the post game show often has many entertaining non-political stories).

Most shows are too dry (NPR for example is great, but can put me to sleep), while some others (that shall remain nameless) think an endless series of goofy sound effects and impersonations is somehow entertaining.

2. He does have a termper, but the media wont tell u that
From the media we will only hear that he's a straight-shooting Maverick, blah blah blah. They adore this guy with passion. His errors are called "senior moments" and 'misstatements'. Puhlease.

7. "I WAS ONLY PISSED OFF BECAUSE HE REMINDED ME OF THE VIET CONG..."
Only part of the prison exists today as a museum. Most of it was demolished during the construction of a high rise that now occupies most of the site. The interrogation room where many newly captured Americans were questioned (notorious among former prisoners as the "blue room") is now made up to look like a very comfortable, if spartan, barracks-style room. Displays in the room claim that Americans were treated well and not harmed. Former prisoners' published memoirs and oral histories broadcast on C-SPAN identify the room (and other nearby locales) as the site of numerous acts of torture. Murder, beatings, broken bones, teeth and eardrums, dislocated limbs, starvation, serving of food contaminated with human and animal feces and medical neglect of infections and tropical disease are matter-of-fact details revealed in famous accounts by McCain, Denton, Alvarez, Day, Risner, Stockdale, Johnson and dozens of others

YOU MUST APPRECIATE HIS SERVICE..... BUT THOSE FLASHBACKS ???
WHOSE FINGER DO YOU WANT ON THE BUTTON AT 3 A.M.
(NOT THAT BUTTON MR CLINTON)

8. John McCain has serious impulse-control issues. He is totally unfit for the Presidency.
