2. If you liked what Jackie said listen to what the challenger to Pelosi says for her seat in SF
You Must Hear This: Challenger To Pelosi Calls Her Out As A Political Coward
What would you give to have a representative tell it exactly like it
is, the unvarnished, unequivocating truth?

Shirley Golub, who is seriously challenging Nancy Pelosi for the
Democratic Party primary nomination on June 3 in San Francisco, is
doing just that. In her new radio spot she calls the incumbent out on
her political cowardice, for not drawing a line in the sand and
sticking to it over further funding for the strategic debacle in
Iraq, for being scared to even confront the White House over its
manifest impeachable offenses, and for not even having the courage to
appear for a debate in her own district.

You can hear this uncompromising new radio spot on this page:

Yes, Nancy Pelosi is a political coward. And Shirley Golub is not
afraid to say it either. And with your help she wants to get this ad
on every radio station in her district with a signal stronger than a
tin can on a string.

We the people deserve better. We did not elect a Democratic majority
in both the House and the Senate to trade a rubber stamp Congress for
a rubber spine one. Somebody explain to us why Republicans can set
records in mounting filibusters when in the minority, but the
Democrats can't seem to muster much of filibuster, when one is
clearly called for, even when in the majority.

Does anyone believe that they will even hold the line at the end of
the day on refusing to grant unwarranted retroactive immunity to the
telecoms that broke the law for the White House, that without out
constant pressure they won't just end up caving on that one too just
like every other time? Does anyone believe they would even be taking
that much of a stand without the pressure of the primary challenges
to their own seats which are gaining more and more momentum every
day.

So if you like hearing the truth for a change. If you like the idea
of a representative who will call a thing what it really is, and
fearlessly so, please make a donation at the page below to make this
the most talked about radio spot of the entire election season.

6. Why isn't she running for president?
This is the kind of voice and the kind of integrity we need in the White House.

7. Speier did a terrific job in state office here in California.
I hope we can expect more of the same from her in Washington.

She has a strong track record of innovation and courage.
