1. bleeping MSM clowns
are spinning it like he backpedaled. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080412/pl_nm/usa_politics_dc_14

I woke up to that and said, "Goddammit Barack, don't apologize for being right!" Thanks for providing the real context.

4. Yeah I saw that this morning as well...

The media is trying to portray him as if he was in the wrong for telling the TRUTH and is now in backpedaling mode. For his sake I hope he continues to fire back at these idiots like he did on the Rev. Wright issue.

Maybe Obama should come out with a 30min speech about TRUTH, like he did about RACE with the Rev. Wright issue.

6. That's a GREAT idea.. a speech about telling the truth.
I've had it with politicians who talk down to us, doublespeaking, mealymouthed, disingenuous, ooh don't get me started

8. Heres how the media is spinning it, from what I've seen today so far in News headline progression...
Its all very subtle but oh yet so effective heh?

10am First:
Obama calls voters bitter (Make a headline that's borderline true but puts him in a bad light)

1pm Second:
Obama Backpedals (Media insinuates as if)

4pm Third:
Obama regrets statements (At this point the media is literally talking for him)

13. I feel the same-He got it right the first time.
Americans have been fighting and voting on wedge issues(since the early 70's) because they have little or no control over what is really important. I voted for Edwards and had not felt that there was much difference between Obama and Clinton until now. We need to let the GOP know that we will no longer allow them to divide us.

3. Up hill climb...
I guess I should not be surprised, but I just was channel surfing through the "news" networks. Every single channel was vilifying Obama. So between the MSM, and Clinton working in tandem to destroy Obama I think things are going to be rough. But I think that most of Obama's supporters are like myself, and can see through the charade. I just think that is sad to see the MSM so vested in seating McNutso into the White House.

5. Kick.
As I feared. People are not getting the full text of this statement because the media deluge is putting it out there as a fragment. For the love of truth, people, please watch the video.

7. I try to make a point of going to the original on YouTube and giving a high rating
when it's one I think people should see. I don't know how that system works but I think the more views and the more ratings, the more views it's likely to get.

9. I just don't see how the media can spin this like they have.
He admitted he didn't choose the best words (Who the hell has the best words 24/7?) Yet he did not regret his message or anything.

Thanks for posting the original video. I hope people will call or write to the MSM asking them to report correctly about this. And include the youtube link please!

11. This is very threatening to the media
The MSM is not just controlled by giant corporations. The MSM IS the giant corporations. They are in business to promote the interests and viewpoint of the giant corporations. This is all very threatening to them.

How ironic is it that they now see the Clintons as their salvation?

someone who will actually stop the gridlock in Washington. They are afraid that they will lose their earmarks and special interest groups and lobbyist as they've come to know.

He is actually going to work for the middle class and they are afraid of that. Hillary and the Right wing are trying to knee cap him and it's not working and they don't have an answer.

Rezko didn't work.
Wright didn't work.
NAFTA didn't work.

They have nothing else and even if they did, it wouldn't work.
