This week, Bill welcomes actor Jason Alexander, national security expert Richard Clarke and journalist Dana Priest. Plus, via satellite, biologist Richard Dawkins and Rep. Joe Sestak (D-PA)

Clark discusses a potential Condi Rice vice presidency run and here record. On generals and their relationship to Bush, Clarke: "If they get some really dumb order like invade Iraq, they can quit."

1. I saw the show last night. Clark was terrific as usual..
Dana was ok, Jason was pretty good and Bill's New Rules had a few really great lines.

Clark's response re Rice running was GREAT! "Bring it on!!!!"

2. "Don't expect truth in a public hearing" - Dana Priest
"It would be insubordination in a certain kind of way"......talking of Patraeus' testimony to Congress.

Wouldn't it be nice if these "reporters" gave us the news in their newspapers and tv programs the same way they inform people of reality on the ground on comedy shows?.........

3. Yeah
I was pretty shocked by that remark too. And from a Pulitzer Prize winner.

5. Clark obviously said it like it is.
Priest, eh ... a little surprised by that "subordination" remark. It almost sounded like she thought what General Petraeus and Crocker are doing makes sense, and that isn't right. By the way, I was offended by some of the comments towards black people that Bill Maher said. I don't normally watch the show, but wow. I mean he made it sound like black women are scantily clad and go by bizarre names, like black people condone swearing and it is part of black people's vocabulary, and he let it stand. I'm not defending Condi the convict, but I do not like the way that he portrayed black people, especially black women - just gross. I, personally, was offended.

8. The great thing about Bill
is that he says stuff that almost everyone can be offended by -- especially if they're in the mood to be offended.

Personally, I don't see where he said all black people do this or that or all black women are a certain way. Either I missed it or you're reading a lot into it.

6. I feel For The Clintons..
No Matter what they say or do they can't win. They are screwed the same way Howard Dean was. He did one thing wrong, They did several. But once made you can't go back. And they are screwed. The Democrats have turned their backs on them. What's in store for her? I think her political career is over. Not just the White House but also for anything else she wants to do. Thanks Democrats. For throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
