1. He just knows how to do it.
What an inspiring gesture. He doesn't need the pin to prove his patriotism, but a disabled vet gives him one, and he doesn't shy away.

I am proud to support Obama.

2. That's the REAL meaning this pin should portray.
And I know Obama will wear it proudly -- I know it means a lot to him.

3. That vet was looking out for him and covering his butt for the GE
Where the repuks would try to make a issue of his not wearing the pin. But the vet knew he would wear the pin if he gave it to him.

That vet saved us all some grief.

14. What happened to his "principled" stand on this so he could show "real patriotism"?
Has he become a fake patriot in light of pastorgate and him dissing small towns?

16. I am sure that is the first time he has gotten a lapel pin from someone

:boring:

There is nothing St. Obama can do that Obamites will see is wrong, even a blatant flip flop to cover his behind on the next "gate". Even under your spin you are saying Obama is so weak his "principled stand" crumbles at the first hint of emotion. Change we can believe in--until he gets tugged in the other direction?

17. How many legislators have the honor of recieving it
as a gift from a disabled veteran. It is imbued with meaning because of this gesture, not just a fixture required to blend in as with most of the people wearing it.

18. C'mon man
What kind of trollish statement is that? Where's the energy? Where are the talking points? You can do better, I know you can. You won't win any awards with such a limp, lifeless attempt at trollery.
