He should be thanked for being a True Democrat and bringing us Democrats together on going against the same politics that the Republican Party have been pulling for YEARS against us! :applause:
We need to Unite as a Party behind one individual, that is true to heart and is Far from an elitist, and I'll just say THAT instead of making political stabs with the Elitist-Knife... :eyes:
......:patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot:
....We....as the American people and the True Democrats that we say we are....need to stop this Democrat on Democrat bull and redefining or spinning of the term Elitist....and remember the Extremities and Radical types that represent true Elitists.....and quit talking about this subject unless we REALLY want to take it head on.... ....instead.... Let's stand together and beat the Republicans this November!!!!!
Well said from Senc!
Obama 08'!

So I am not sure why you have the sarcasm thing in your post. Honestly I am not sure what you're point is. Cenk is saying that Hillary is using the GOP playbook to hammer Obama and her own party with elitist garbage. He is completely and totally right. The only sarcasm here would hopefully be from anyone that says Hillary is right in her tactics because she is obviously the opposite.

10. Cenk said before that the amount of HRC folk going to mccain was increasing BUT... |
|
but this percentage figure doesn't account for those swtiching to Obama. So as the support declines for Hillary clearly the ones that will go to mccain grow in percentage, as the pie is getting smaller... So not as worrying as it looks.

11. Same shit, different election year....WAKE UP America!! |
|
I agree. It's "an elitist" issue now. It was "a traitor" issue with John Kerry - a decorated Vietnam vet....and on and on and on. And YES!!..the media is responsible for continuing this ridiculous spin bullshit. They give it breath and life. The dumb f*ckers!!
They do this every election. Say it enough times, over and over and over again...and the ignorant sons of bitches in this country will lap it up.
Bad enough that the pravda network spins it 24/7...but for the "mainstream media" to repeat it and keep it alive.....they are the traitors and liars to this "once great nation".
Shame on us!

I like Cenk, I wish he was still with AA. I understand the anger and frustration, I feel it too. This is the mistake. This is a trap Republicans pull out of their toolkit every election. They find something, anything. A 400$ haircut, a billionaire wife, an intellectual, and acuse him of being an elitist snob. This is a frame, Democrats, northeastern liberals, etc, are elitist snobs. A frame is also a trap. Frames overide facts, if the fact contradicts the frame, the fact is thrown out and the frame stays. The worst part of the trap is that to deny the frame only serves to reinforce the frame. Cenk screamed "Obama" and "elitist" several times in this clip. "Obama-elitist" etc. etc. This is not the way to effectively respond. You have to respond by reframing. Not "Obama is not an elitist," or plain "no" for that matter. Something to the effect of "The Obama I know is a brilliant man who passionately cares about people and wants to do something about it." Or whatever. There are lots of ways to go here. One of my favorite is to frame the opponent as an outsider trying to attack someone in the group or even the whole group. If (fill in the blank) wants to know how I (or Barack Obama) think, then (fill in the blank) should talk to the people who know him or who've dedicated their hearts and souls to his campaign or better yet the man himself. Never take the bait. They shouldn't really even answer questions they're asked. If you listen, Republicans never answered the questions they are asked, especially before 2006, they just launch into their talking points. It's similar to what Democrats have to do. Democrats have to respond with their own frames. It's not that the general public is stupid or anything, it's just the way the brain works.

15. The truth is important and needs to be told, but |
|
it has to be framed correctly or you'll reinforce the wrong ideas. The right has controlled the corporate media because it has controlled the framework on which the issues have been discussed.
