Obama supporters don't need to apologize or make excuses for his shilling for the GOP in order to score cheap political points in a contest that he's doomed to lose. Obama's supporters don't need to make excuses for his stance on the illegal invasion of Iraq or for promoting NAFTA or CAFTA or for keeping Mark Penn on board the campaign despite his promotion of the anti-labor Columbian Free Trade Agreement that Obama purports to oppose.

You know why?

Because Obama didn't do any of these things.
