1. I was impressed
Nice to see her in a reasoned discussion. The sound bites have gotten really tiresome. Keith did a good job in the interview - tough questions, no punches pulled, but fair, and gave her all the time she wanted to answer. And she answered well. She regained some ground with me.

2. God - she looks right at the camera and lies her head off.
She's got it down pat.

Senator, on March 6th you said 2 plus 2 equals 4.

On April 6th you said 2 plus 2 equals 22.

Isn't it fair to say that your answers are at best confusing and at worst contradictory?

Why no Keith, not at all. In no way or manner could any sentient being see either confusion or contradiction in my answers. In fact those answers demonstrate that I am the most transparent and consitent candidate who has ever run for the office of presidency in the history of this country.
And I will be ready at 3 a.m. of Day One to communicate with the Pentagon and every head of every country in the world on a conference call discussing the subject of nuclear retaliation with the same precise multiple answers.

4. I'm with frogcycle on this.
Her explanation of her Iran statement, for example, was much more reasoned and sane (for a lack of a better word) than her short response at the debate allowed for. Don't know if that's the optimum approach, but I no longer feel as though she's just itching to get into an Iran confrontation. (Although I still find the Kyl-Lieberman vote troublesome.)

I liked what she had to say about gas prices (investigating) and by extension, about the environment and our need to move ahead on alternate energy options.

She was the consummate politician in NOT addressing the point KO was making regarding her statements on McCain, but said the right things about McCain nonetheless.

The Scaife thing -- meh. Not sure what I think of that, but not sure it's that big of a deal ultimately.

She gained some ground with me, too.

All in all, I was surprised by my non-reaction to most of what she said, and I hope to remember not to over-react to the sound bites in the future as I have been as of late.

5. Her response to the last question is just stupid.
From beginning to end - the laughter as the question about Scaife is framed, very seriously by Olberman, and then the gullible stupidity of the reply.

6. Thank you for posting this...if as Jefferson says, a country gets the
government it deserves, we should be so lucky as to have Hillary Clinton as our president. A country that believed the media hype about empty suit Bush v. Gore, v. Kerry does not inspire me to believe in change for the better, but one can hope the country will be saying "Madam President" soon. We need a brilliant policy wonk who is a hard worker to clean up the mess. After it is cleaned up, the country can settle for a less qualified candidate who looks great in a suit (and is the preferred sex).

Unfortunately, TV exists to hold the viewer for the next commercial, often a prescription drug commercial so that the average Joe can ask his M.D. for that piece of expensive candy. Which candidate poses the biggest threat to the drug industry? HRC!

7. She had her chance
to be civil, sweet and address issues but she chose the kitchen sink, GOP style smear campaign. If she would have only taken this tone from the get go, I might still be in her camp or at least open to either her or Obama. But there have been just too many slurs and lies, praising McInsane over her Democrat opponent, bashing the activist base etc... for me to ever wash the disgust off of me.

12. "Civil, sweet...kitchen sink..." Wonder where you think her proper place is.
Do you have fantasies of Mommy Hillary washing that disgust off you? Wearing a nice frilly apron, maybe?

That's some telling vocabulary you got there.

8. Gosh this one didn't make the greatest page
Was it the non-answering of questions, the phony smile, the inappropriate laughter?

I think this needs another rec....her fans only seem to like part 1.

9. Why is she cackling about the Scaife question?
And she did a great job of lying her ass off about that McCain question. I don't like here, but I will admit she is a GREAT liar.

14. Nah.
That was a cackle. And I think male politicians can lie their ass off just as much as any female politician can.

16. Question
I wonder about Iran destabilizing the Middle East by being the only country with a nuclear bomb. Israel has had nukes for about 40 years, haven't they? How come Israel gets to be the only Middle Eastern country with nukes?
