Harper’s Scott Horton lectures in Huntsville on selective prosecution and the Alabama press’ reporting on the Don Siegelman case. Alabama’s press corps has essentially become a propaganda arm for the Department of Justice. The DoJ has engaged in a witch hunt pursued Democrats 80% of the time and Republicans 20% of the time which is a statistical anomaly given elected reps are split roughly 50/50.

Don Siegelman attended and answered questions about no-bid contract stories from 1999 and giving his attention to the national media over local. He recognized Jill Simpson who was in the audience.
