1. The real score is much simpler: Jobs. Hillary's paid political advisers |
|
don't want to lose their jobs. Hillary is concentrating on putting one foot in front of the other and following the advice of her consultants. And her consultants' current income, their jobs depend not on her winning, but on her staying in the race. Therefore, Hillary's consultants are telling her that she should keep going. Hillary has no time to crunch numbers, and no energy to crunch numbers or to question her consultants just now. And she wants to be president. She wants to prove to Bill and all her critics that she can be a good president, so she wants to believe what her paid consultants are telling her.
Follow the money. This is easy to figure out. And her consultants -- and friends like Carville -- don't care about the Democratic Party. They would like to see Dean and the current DNC fail. In fact, they stand to gain financially from the failure of the current leadership of the Democratic Party. Sorry to be a such a cynic, but I think I'm right.

2. That completely ignores the caucuses |
|
You can't ignore the caucuses. No matter how we feel about caucuses, the Party recognizes caucuses as a valid way to represent the public in the primaries. You can't throw that out just because it wasn't a ballot.
And then comes the question how you count the "popular vote" in caucus states. You can't compare 45 delegates in Iowa to 440,000 ballots on South Carolina, for example. In fact, Iowa probably had MORE citizens engaged in the process than SC. How do you equalize for that?
You don't. That's why the party has a clear, well documented measurement for winning and losing. It is the delegate count, period. People should not even be dignifying this Clinton bullshit argument by putting out videos on it.
