2. This is exactly what needs to be done
It should be our patriotic duty to figure out fuel alternatives and to conserve gas until we do.

3. Nice to see him...
Honing the message of this ad so there's no more "nobody takes money from Oil Companies, it's been illegal since 1906" nonsense anymore. The first one was a little too open for interpretation, I guess.

13. Bingo!
It's also worth noting that it's clear that he went for a 'non-elitist' (whatever that means) approach in this vid...

9. My brother and I were just saying...
...whenever we hear him speak, there's this sense that we're going to pull out of this mess. I'm a grown man and I still find my eyes starting to water up when I hear him give his speeches. Maybe it's because it's felt so hopeless for the past 8 years and finally there's some one out there that can pull us all together and we're going to be all right some how.

10. It is time Washington worked for us and not ExxonMobil
Those bastards are just raking in the huge profits and doing nothing but getting fat bonuses.

To hell with ExxonMobil. Break them up! :nuke:

14. He doesn't take money from Oil Companies because it's ILLEGAL. But he loves the Big Oil Executives.
Edited on Fri Apr-25-08 07:38 PM by BeatleBoot
It's been illegal for over 100 years to accept campaign donations from Big Oil Companies.

But that hasn't stopped him from accepting donations from Big Oil executives and their employees.

And Hillary has too.

BUT!

Obama voted FOR Dick Cheney's Energy Bill.

Hillary voted NO!

To me, his entire commercial is dishonest.

16. The ad is playing in North Carolina, too
It's just the right tone for the campaign and I hope it's where he's going from here to November. McCain can let the RNC race-bait do its worst while he stands there shrugging and saying, "Who, me?" They could let every last one of their hateful dogs out and he'll still beat them to a pulp because he won't give up on the needs of the middle class.
