If God really punishes political subdivisions for sinning, then, this entire country would have been fried, drowned or blown away by now.

I'd pay good money to watch the proceedings of St Peter judging people like Hagee, Falwell, et al to consider letting them past the pearly gates. You could cut the hypocrisy with a knife.

4. I despise Hagee.

The "gay pride parade" is anything but a singular parade. It is the second largest event in New Orleans generating millions of dollars of revenue for NOLA; not that any of the local media ever present on it. It is called "Southern Decadence."

That said, the way this clip is set up is disturbing. Why use a picture of Hagee standing in front of a giant Magen David? Almost the entire clip is a picture of that man standing in front of the Star of David, not at a pulpit, not in front of a cross (a symbol of his faith), nor a church.

I wouldn't read into that too much as I'm sure it wasn't intentional and few people seemed to notice it.

"...few people seemed to notice it." is part of the problem. They used two photos of him, the one in front of the Star of David (51 seconds) sandwiched between the same picture of him sitting at a mic (19 seconds). You may not think it was intentional, but in my opinion, it was calculated. Thousands of pictures of this man exist, more than a few of him in front of a cross or church, but during their segment, they have him 'super-imposed' in front of a traditional sign of the Jews. Had it been a montage, then I wouldn't be as suspicious. If the other picture had as much "air-time," I might still question it, but not necessarily see anything "sinister." But neither of those scenarios occurred.

7. Conspiracy Theory

I'm sorry, but I couldn't disagree more. It's really, really outrageous to think this was intentional.

In fact it's absurd in my opinion, based on the people involved and the nature of the show.

You are entitled to your opinion and me to mine. I also fail to see how it is "really, really outrageous to think it was done with forethought. How do "people involved and the nature of the show make the possibility of intention less? I think it is absurd some would dismiss this so lightly.

Seems, according to the other poster, most wouldn't "catch it." Because most don't catch it, doesn't mean that there wasn't more behind the choice in the photograph, or the length it was shown. It doesn't necessarily mean the opposite either, but I won't dismiss it as easily as some would.
