PS---Keep in mind you can always watch The Young Turks 24 hours a day at www.theyoungturks.com . The streaming video/audio means you can minimize the window and surf the net or post at DU while you hear Cenk break down the latest politics.

And you can also join the chat while the show is on live from 3-5pm EST, and during the post game show (where in addition to politics, many other less serious topics are discussed) from 5-7pm EST.

1. Great point Cenk makes --
that if our system was based on the popular vote, the candidates wouldn't have spent so much time in IA or NH!!

This approach by Clinton is a stretch, to put it mildly. I don't know how she can stand up there and claim that without rolling her eyes.

3.  She has a "populist" Message?????
oy... I must have missed it. The DLC and Hillary are not populists, so I'm not sure such a thing would have much meaning. She did support NAFTA did she not? That blows any "populist" message she may try to promote right out of the rhetorical water.

6. Speeches? She Lies a lot too, What Does That Say about Her Speeches?
Edited on Sun Apr-27-08 03:26 PM by fascisthunter
I'm contrasting her speeches with her past actions.

I'd say you were being the "foolish" one. You base your retort upon a speech?

15. that last point
is the best one to just maker her look foolish.

If popular vote counted for anything, why did you spend 9 months in a state with no popular vote tallies?

17. Caucus States Don't Matter
Edited on Mon Apr-28-08 05:23 AM by dbredes
I live in a caucus state...and put hundreds of hours into our LD's precinct and LD caucuses.

It makes my head spin on it's shoulders...the way we are treated.

Washington State had the largest caucus ever!!

No one arrived in limousines and wine wasn't served. Real people, my neighbors...many many many who had never before participated in the caucuses...took time out their lives to stand for "change"...

As this popular vote argument of Hillary's began to gain traction in the media...It has been so frustrating that the "talking heads"...throw numbers around without even mentioning that they were not including the caucus states...

We have become the "new" invisible Americans Hillary espouses to never forget.
