Cenk is right on the money, as usual.

I'm re-reading (for the umpteenth time) The Mis-Education of the Negro by Carter G. Woodson, which was written in 1933.

Where Cenk mentions the patriotic keynote address Sen. Obama gave in 2004 and taking Sen. Obama's strengths and turning them against him, is exactly what the chapter I read this morning was speaking to. It's not just a "Rovian" tactic, it's what oppressors have done for the past three centuries in America as regards black people.
