wish he'd have mentioned Iraq sliding into chaos... how people should think of that whenever the desperate republics start spewing their spin on this blip of a news item.

2. twice the talking head used the phrase 'controvery' when |
|
referring to Kerry's statement. Twice: once at the beginning and once at the end.
Announcer did not note that Little Lord Pissypants' comments were far more controversial.
Gotta love that 'liberal' media. :eyes:

6. just because the WH calls it a controversy, doesn't mean it really is one |
|

they create this stuff purely for dramatic effect.
The 'controversy' is that a group of fanatics are stripping away our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, and our standing as a leading democratic republic in the 'free' world.
That is the controversy. Another one is the way this group of fanatics lied to start an illegal invasion of a sovereign nation.
See, those are controversial things, in my book. Someone saying what Kerry said is in no way, shape or form controversial.
And the talking head, in using it in conjuction with Kerry, was simply acting as a WH enabler. It has nothing to do with what's true.
But hey, I'm just one of those silly "reality-based" folk.

15. He should have mentioned the video |
|
The elaborate unfunny video of Bush looking for WMD in the laundry was honestly one of the most insulting things I've ever seen.

11. Dean couldn't be more correct: This flap keeps the focus on Iraq |
|
which doesn't help the GOP because Iraq is the number one gripe this country has against the WH/rubber-stamping GOP congress.
And it also focuses on the GOP's bullying tactics & how it needs to be reined in. How many parents who will be voting can tolerate constant sniping between children without intervening & saying, enough is enough! I hope there are many, because that is all this president without substance is all about, besides getting our country into a big mess. This country's voters need to teach him a lesson.

12. I think the GOPs are in forced bravado mode and taking a risk with this |
|
in the very hopes that it would cover UP the Iraq issue as a loser for them. Tough - Kerry ain't playing it the way they wanted.

14. Democrats everywhere need to keep the focus on Iraq |
|
and the lives lost, the weapons that were supplied to the new Iraqi troops that have gone unaccounted for, the US soldier that was kidnapped by the insurgents and now left to the hands of the Mahdi Army to do with as they wish - all attempts to rescue him have been called off!
Iraq is a debacle that gets worse by the day. Keep the focus on Iraq right up to election night. We need to vote in a new Congress and Senate who can demand that we get out of there!
