He's running in Congressional District 10 against our candidate Ted Ankrum. Ted Ankrum who had the guts to take on Tom DeLay.

While I like the video theme as entertainment, let's promote our own candidates first.

Here is part of his platform that causes me to scratch my head -

"One of the easiest ways to lower health care costs is to get rid of excess regulation of the pharmaceutical industry.... Just as the high cost of pharmaceutical regulation results in fewer medications, the high cost of gaining a medical license means fewer doctors, so patients must often wait weeks for an appointment. The regulations governing medical schools have resulted in homogenized training of physicians, which often neglects cost-saving approaches such as disease prevention, nutrition, and alternative therapies.... I will work hard to end excess regulation of pharmaceuticals, health care providers, and insurance companies.... Taxpayers will save as much as they are now spending on Medicare/Medicaid when they no longer have to fund this destructive bureaucracy.... Medicare or Medicaid recipients can transition into their choice of private health insurance, allowing rapid privatization of these programs."

I just don't agree that pharmaceutical companies, health care providers, and insurance companies are over-regulated (I think they are UNDER-regulated), and I don't believe that Medicare or Medicaid should be privatized.

Give us a break! I don't care what Mike thinks. I don't care that Arnold thinks Dems should support him in CA. Or that stinky Kinky thinks he should get Democratic votes in Texas. None of these people are Democrats.

If Badnarik was running in your neck of the woods I might stay out of this. But I know Ted Ankrum and he's a highly qualified Democratic candidate that we should support. This is a Democratic forum created to support Democratic candidates. It's one thing to say hey check out this Libertarian's video and make it clear he's not in our party. And it's quite another to see Democrats promoting this guy just because of this "cute" video. Loved the "V for Vendetta" movie, but let's not confuse voters. Badnarik is a Libertarian and we have a candidate in this race.
